Set among San Diego's scenic downtown and breathtaking Embarcadero Park, the Festival is the perfect pairing of Southern California ambiance, world-class wines and culinary delights. Highlights of the action-packed festival include wine tasting seminars, cooking classes hosted by award winning chefs, the Reserve and New Release wine tasting, a WineRave, $50,000 "Chef of the Fest" competition, the Celebrity Chef Luncheon and AIWF Big Bottle Live Auction and the Embarcadero Park Grand Tasting Event! The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is currently in its eighth year of production and has experienced tremendous growth year after year. Over 800 wines, 70 of San Diego's top fine dining restaurants and 30 gourmet food companies and exhibitors will participate in the 2009 Festival.
